Jerry's bringing him back for final season of contract - Glenn to miss '08 season...
Jan 22, 9:04 PM EST Terrell Owens Will Be Back With Cowboys
IRVING, Texas (AP) -- Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones plans to pay Terrell Owens' $3 million roster bonus, which means the All-Pro wide receiver will be back for the final season of his three-year, $25 million contract.
"Yes, we are going to have Terrell back," Jones said Tuesday at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
Jones added that a contract extension for Owens is something he would consider "down the line."
Owens finished with 81 catches for 1,355 yards and a team-record 15 touchdown receptions.
The future of wide receiver Terry Glenn appears uncertain, Jones said. Glenn missed 15 games after arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. He'll need microfracture surgery on the knee, a procedure that typically requires a year to recover from.
"That's something I will sit down over the days ahead to talk to him about," Jones said.
Fantasy Football: "Luck is where preparation meets opportunity"
I won't buy TO again next season in fantasy, and Im not a fan of his end of season dropoff, but if Garrett can keep him involved in the offense more consistently, I think he remains the centerpiece of the Cowboys offensive aptitude...
Crayton will go into the year as the cowboys #3 wr playing the slot again, mark it down. They are either going to use a 1st on somebody like Limas Sweed or pick up a FA wr to fill the #2 role like roy williams, but Jerry will be going after somebody to put Crayton back in the slot...I still like craytons value, but he wont be expected to be the #2 wr going into the season, im pretty sure of it

Throwed, what is the talk of a Roy Williams trade in Dallas? What are they willing to part with? He would be a natural fit there, having gone to Texas and all. He and TO would be a dynamic duo.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

Its more "unofficial" talk then anything...roy coming out and being upset about Martz leaving, and he knows CJ is the future there, also that he wants to play closer to home...And on Dallas' end Jerry loves grabbing a FA wr especially when his team is on the verge(Terry Glenn, Keyshaun, TO, list goes on) and he knows a guy like Roy can come in and not have a learning curve, then in 2 years be the #1 by himself and the offense wont lose a beat when they lose TO...Add in the fact that Jerry is already shopping Carpenter and Spears, 2 guys who Detroit could use, and I could see something
Dallas gives: 2nd round pick Bobby Carpenter Marcus Spears
Detroit gives: Roy Williams
If he's not able to land Roy, I think he goes after Fitz, Stallworth, or another guy really hard, he has a big signing each off season and wr looks like the position where he will make a move..and if TO had a guy like Roy on the other side teams cant put 3 guys on TO anymore because thats what they were doing in the detroit game

Jeez, if the Cowboys get R. Williams or Fitz, the better win the super bowl next year. That offence would be sick, assuming of course Romo can focus on football and not something else.......hehehee...
