Yeah I saw that on the ticker last night...stupid kids, man they are all very lucky. I'm happy none of them were seriously injured and they didn't seriously injure anyone else.
On a football note, how crappy would that have been if Thomas was seriously injured and missed the season...after he took off his redshirt.
Also I'm a little scurd of USC next week....they get a long week to prepare for revenge on us for last season....them losing to the Beavers last night didn't help us any.

My thoughts exactly... They're gonna be out for blood, but sure would be cool to see back-to-back Oregon wins!

Tell me about it. I'm not sure which would be worse really. The trio of young less experienced guys or a guy fresh of a knee injury who's missed a fair amount of time. Gonna be a tough task either way.

... particularly after Sandrock's Beavers have sufficiently pissed off the Trojans regarding anything Oregon.
well, mebbe they're a little ticked off at us from last year, too.

I just heard on the radio that due to Roper's injury and illness, Masoli will be starting at USC. Looked for a link, but all I found was speculation...

I actually feel a little more comfortable with Masoli starting. I know that sounds crazy but he's shown me enough to want him over a guy that hasn't even seen a practice field in over 3 weeks. If Roper was 100% I might change my tune but I think he's far from 100%. Really our entire offense is based around the 2 headed monster rushing attack of JJ and Blount, all we need Masoli to do is complete 10-15 passes out of the 20-25 he'll attempt to keep USC's DEF honest....and not throw any picks which he hasn't done yet this year. OSU showed how to run on SC last week, hopefully we'll have the same success.
