Come on man, I know you really want Oregon to win, but you shouldn't be rooting for an injury...

He is not "rooting for an injury" Rodgers is already injured, Nfl is just not heartbroken that one of the Beavs star players won't be suiting up which in turn improves the Ducks chances of victory. None of us "root for injuries" but they are part of the game and players miss time due to injury. I don't see anything wrong with a fan being somewhat relieved that their team doesn't have to face another teams star player. :-?

At the same time I'd rather have the Beavs at full strength so they have nothing to blame their loss on. :-B

I might be in the minority, but when I play a team I'd rather play them at full strength. I don't want to win just because the other team's star RB is hurt.

I agree and thats why I added that part at the end.

Flesh must've missed the ;-7 part, but Met pretty much summed it up.

We can end the discussion at this, because it was pretty clearly said in jest, but just to sum up what I thought I had seen: I thought that ;-7 referred to the fact that it wasn't actually breaking your heart.
