That is of course unless UCLA pulls the upset against USC...in which case Oregon State would go to the Rose, USC would get the Holiday, and the Ducks would slip to the Sun. :-?

GO TROJANS!!! :-B

If UCLA upsets USC, there would be a three-way tie. Why wouldn't we still be in it for Roses? We beat OSU who beat USC who beat us who... :-S

Yeah it would be a 3 way tie....my guess is it would go to overall record...USC would only have 2 losses, Ducks 3, and Beavs 4.

It would still go down to which team has the longest Rose Bowl drought. There is no possible scenario in which Oregon can make the Rose Bowl.

Yeah I forgot about that lame rule. I don't think it's a lame rule because it would be the Beavs getting the Rose but because it's just dumb, overall record should be the deciding factor in the event of a tie. :-?

Actually, that would be sweet! We get to beat the Beavs at Reser, and they still beat out USC for the Rose Bowl.

GO UCLA!
(pffffft... like that'll happen) ;-7 :-b

I wouldn't rule out them getting an at large despite losing again...they'd still have a better resume than Ohio St. and they will have beaten OSU badly.

I would, a loss to a REALLY bad UCLA team would be crushing at this point.....you just can't lose this late in the season, especially to a team like UCLA.

Normally I'd agree with you but they beat OSU by 32...not to mention that it would be the bowls choice and they'd probably want the team that they actually think is better, which would likely be USC over both OSU and Boise St...

From: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/football/nfl/12/01/risers.sliders/

Jeremiah Johnson/RB/Oregon: Johnson is part of the two-headed ball carrying monster at Oregon. He's a shifty and creative running back with the speed necessary to take it the distance. Johnson finished his college career in style running roughshod over rival Oregon State for 216 yards, helping to end the Rose Bowl dreams of the Beavers. His draft stock is soaring and Johnson will have another opportunity to impress NFL scouts at the Senior Bowl in Alabama next January.
