I dunno...I never like the new jerseys when I first see them, they tend to grow on me though. They kinda have to since I'm a Ducks fan.
Anyway, I didn't mind the wing thingies on the black jerseys, in fact I kinda liked it but that yellow one is awful, I never like the yellow versions though. I'm not so sure about the white ones either. That "carbon fiber" helmet is crazy.

Here's where things get interesting, at least for those trying to project the order of finish in a league that, because of the quarterback issues, would seem to defy projection.
While mired in QB issues themselves, USC and Cal both have enough returning talent elsewhere to be confident with lofty expectations. But the Ducks could land in any number of slots. While they're settled at quarterback — no team is in better shape — they took so many personnel hits at so many other positions (including head coach) that it's difficult to gauge their spot in the Pac-10 pecking order. Could they challenge for the conference title? Sure. But they could also finish fourth or fifth.
The big question, of course, is how the Ducks will handle the coaching change. Mike Bellotti retired in March after 14 years in command. The Ducks had named offensive coordinator Chip Kelly the coach-in-waiting before Bellotti made it official, so the transition was seamless. But that doesn't mean everything will be seamless on the field and in the locker room this season. Bellotti excelled at managing the program and leaving much of the game preparation to his assistants.
Kelly has two things working in his favor this fall that stand above all others. One is the schedule: The Ducks open at Boise State and play Purdue and Utah at home, which means there is some risk and also the potential for huge reward. And in conference action, this being an odd-numbered year, the Ducks get USC, Cal and Oregon State in Eugene.
Kelly also has the benefit of stepping into an envious situation with his quarterbacks. Jeremiah Masoli is back to operate Kelly's spread option, an offense in which Masoli was fabulous as a sophomore last season.
