ESPN Gameday to Reser next Saturday. Third of the year for Oregon and first ever at Reser. I didn't know the Beavers had such a national draw.

haha! Yeah that was pretty funny. Boyett "slightly" redeemed himself with that pick, but he's going to have that trucking stay with hem for the rest of his life. The bright side is Boyett earned himself a prime spot on every Beavers highlight reel from now to eternity.

I've been conversing with some Auburn fans online. Pretty cool bunch, IMHO. I love the "War Eagle" thing. Never knew the history/legend of it before. Frankly, I'm just excited that they got in instead of a TCU or BSU... brings more credibility to the game having the SEC champs. Auburn is a great team rich with history and tradition. They are fast (not as fast as we are) and should be an awesome matchup for the title game.

I'm still kind of in shock. It's like when you're planning a vacation. You know it's coming, but until you're actually on the plane or checked into the hotel, it doesn't seem real. This is new, uncharted territory for us. So here's hoping a few things:

1) Chip has a brilliant game plan. He'll need it, because I hear Auburn's QB is pretty good.
2) We learned the lessons Ohio State taught us at the Rose Bowl last year.
3) Nike doesn't embarrass us with something goofy for our boys to wear! Throwbacks would be nice.

Otherwise, 1-10-11 can't come soon enough!
