What about adding a 5th round? There are obviously still rookies worth drafting. Adding another round would solve the problem and 5 rounds seems perfect to me.

EDIT: If commishes think this is a good idea I think we should put it up to vote. Also, just out of curiousity, what rookies are you referencing wacoug?

The only one that had been won when he made his initial complaint was Earl Thomas.

My immediate reaction is that adding another round would be overkill, but it's probably still worth discussing.

I also think it is overkill and 48 rookies are enough. With that said, I have no problem adding a vote, just because myself or FNJ don't think it is a good idea doesn't mean the rest of you can't overrule us

I think 4 round are probably enough too - anything more would probably be overkill, as I even felt like my 4th rounder was more of a waiver pickup-type player

I was talking about Thomas and Hughes as far as rooks that got snapped up at light speed...

I don't think it would be overkill if we allowed owners to defer picks/not be required to sign draft picks. I really think there are still rookies on the FA market worth having on your team. Id like to see it go to vote, but no biggie if you guys think otherwise.

A couple of questions cause I'm always hazy on this stuff at the beginning of the year:

1) Waivers run from the time a given player's game starts until Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET (but can run over on an individual basis if "winning" bid hasn't been active for at least 24 hours)

2) Does FA start right after that? If so, that means the first-come, first-served picks can be posted starting at 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, correct?
