Are there any rules about backloading? I found this comment, but nothing in the rules? Seems the idea carried some support.

I am updating the rules (to reflect a majority league vote from 2011) as we speak, where we decided there cannot be more than 60% of the contract loaded into the final year of a 4- or 5-year contract. 1-, 2- or 3-year contracts are quite hard to backload to win an auction like this, so I believe we left those out.

So, for a 5-year, $60 million contract, you could not exceed $8M; $8M; $8M; $8M; $28M

I'm guessing that EJ Williams - LB, MIN is actually EJ Henderson - LB, MIN. You sure you weren't drinking?

I'm going to edit that post to read EJ Henderson...I double checked, and I didn't find any LB named Williams on MIN's roster. Please let me know if I'm right.
