Just a little housekeeping before the season starts.

Ron & Bradford still need to post their re-sign contracts and their rookie contracts. I'll send them both a detailed PM/email on both. Also, Kareighuis still needs to post his re-sign contract for ADP.

terp & WaCoug are the only owners currently above our roster limit of 35, so they'll need to cut down before the season starts.


I think that's all that needs to be done before the season starts. Please let me know if anyone sees something I missed. Thanks, and good luck to everyone this season!

The deadline is before the start of the Giants vs Cowboys opener on Wednesday, September 5th at 8:30PM EST.

The short version of the above post is that this thread is only for FA's picked up after 5PM EST on Wednesday's, and they can only be signed to the league minimum contract (1 year @ $200K).


If you want to sign a free agent to a longer contract, you need to put that player up for auction by posting a thread for that player here in the forum (just like we've been doing in the offseason).


So the 2 ways to add players during the season are:

1. From the time a player is put on waivers (1PM EST on Sunday or from the start of their game if it's a Thursday or Saturday game) until 5PM EST on Wednesday's, you must put up a FA for auction in the forum.

2. After 5PM EST on Wednesday's, you must post your FA add here, and he must be signed to the league minimum contract (1 year @200K).

I just wanted to post this here for the new guys (and everyone else).

If you want a bye week kicker or any other player for only 1 week (or 1 year)...it's best to wait until after 5PM EST on Wednesday's to make the FA add (by posting the player & league minimum contract in the "2012 Free Agents" thread.

If you want to add a player for a longer contract, you need to put that player up for auction here in the forum before 5PM EST on Wednesday's. After that, no auctions can be started until the following week's FA period. Feel free to post here if anyone has any questions.

Everything is 100% done, except that Ron still needs to post 2 re-sign contracts and his 4 rookie contracts. I sent him an email about it.
