Just wanted to mention this for the new owners and as a reminder for the old owners. Because I need to make the add/drops manually on MFL, some owners might have a situation where they need to make a last minute FA add (due to bye weeks and/or injuries)...and they also need that player to start in that week. If anyone has this come up, all you need to do is mention in your post that you need that player to start in that week. As long as this is posted before the start of the Thurs/Sat games (if the player involved is playing on Thur/Sat) or before 1PM EST on Sunday for the rest of the players, I'll be able to adjust your lineup on MFL...even after the fact if I have to.
I've noticed that on Finnegan & Nicholas, owners have been consistently raising the avg yearly salary by 100K. That is fine, but I just wanted to remind everyone that it's not necessary until the avg yearly salary reaches $1.0M:

I call it incredible timing. I was more interested in watching the Morris and Nicholas bidding contests and completely forgot. Watching the pre-game shows, I suddenly remembered. Couldn't believe I cut it so close.

to say i'm not pleased would be an understatement and to have it happen to me again just annoys me to no end. i'll say it again I really don't like the 48 hour rule.

Next offseason, we can have a vote to change it back to 24 hours if you want.
On another note, Kareig needs to cut someone before I can add Finnegan. PM sent.

While i'm not that huge a fan I can kinda understand the need for it during the off season bidding only for the fact that there are tons of guys thrown up at once. During the season though when people are trying to get these players in a decent amount of time so they can potentially play them that week I think there needs to be some kind of process change. I lost both Finnegan and Nicolas when I would have won both on a 24 hour clock with my first bids.
I mean we are on 7 days of bidding on Morris and I can see a winning bid on a 24 hour clock in the first 5 bids.

That makes sense and sounds like a great proposal. 48 hours for the FA Frenzy in the offseason, and then 24 hours for FA auctions during the season. 48 hours in the offseason due to a bunch of guys being put up at once, and people having less time in the summer. And then 24 hours during the season when everyone should have more time...especially with all the Thursday games. Also, 24 hours during the season would help the auctions go faster so FA's will get on rosters quicker. We'll definitely put it up for vote/discuss in the offseason, but feel free to discuss now as well.

I would vote yes to that.
