I have been listening and reading Philly stuff all day, but fwiw (eagles fans rabid for a wr) Walker's knee situation is atrocious.

I almost think they should just sign Moss. Not that I WANT it to happen, but why pussyfoot around with Walker, when you could just drop a Moss bomb? You really couldn't account for owens, moss, crayton, witten unless you came up with something new, or really just said screw it and took a suspension for demolishing Romo.
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.

Do you think they'd want him more than Berrian or would they go after both?

Berrian appears to priority uno. He is in town tonight and Wilf wants him bad.

I doubt they would go after Walker if they land Berrian, but if the price is right, who knows.

A third of the league is interested in WR Javon Walker.
At least 10 teams, including all four NFC East clubs, have been in contact with Walker. The 49ers, Bills, Bucs, Panthers, Raiders, and Vikings are also interested, but no visits have been scheduled yet.
Source: ESPN.com

Pretty impressive, although I wonder how many teams are just in it to drive up the asking price

As an Eagles fan, I'm interested in Walker. However, I'm much more interested in seeing how he will do with passing a physical. I am just not sure if he'll be fine, ever again. The talk out of DEN is that he needs another surgery, so I would rather pursue another WR left in free agency (e.g. Moss, Hackett, or Bryant) than waste too much time on Walker. I'd bring him in and give him a physical.. if all looks right then offer him a contract.

A league source tells us that the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins are no longer among the teams interested in acquiring the services of receiver Javon Walker.

There’s a suspicion that Walker’s agent is puffing in this regard, overstating to the media the interest in the player in an effort to create a market for him.

Walker was traded from the Packers to the Broncos in 2006, and was released recently in order to avoid a significant roster bonus.

Before last season started I made a trade - Javon Walker for TJ Houshmandzadeh.

Every single day, that trade looks better and better. :-°

Javon Walker-WR-Broncos Mar. 4 - 8:45 pm et

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that Javon Walker is visiting the Raiders and could sign as soon as Wednesday.

Walker would replace Jerry Porter in Oakland, but signing with the Raiders won't do much to rekindle his fantasy value.
