haven't seen either one, so I guess I can't speak for those, but from what I've seen of Nicolas Cage the Gone in 60 Seconds remake was my favorite.

Ok, am I the only one who pays little, if any, attention to who directs a film? I have no idea who Michael Bay is, but I liked The Rock, Transformers, and Armaggaedon. From those three movies, I'd say he's one hell of a director. But what the hell do I know? From an analytical standpoint, he might suck, but for a person who watches maybe 3 movies a month, I enjoyed those.
