NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that Randy Moss is "inching closer to the point of frustration" over the lack of contract progress with the Patriots.
We've seen this before, when Adam Vinatieri sat on the market, trying to convince teams he may not stay a Patriot. Other teams may be leery of being a pawn in negotiations, and only a few franchises have the cash and team to make sense. Philadelphia, Denver, Washington, and possibly Green Bay seem like the best fits to us. Dallas doesn't have the cap room. Source: NFL.com Related: Broncos, Packers, Eagles, Redskins

true, but the team in general can't be that old. Its like he is the only one who is old.
the packers are statistically the youngest team in the NFL... Bringing Moss in might bump them, but I doubt it... they are a really young team... Even at Favre and Moss' ages... I'd take them over the majority of players at their respective positions...

I don't think Moss would sign with them before Favre makes some kind of announcement. If he really is as dead-set on the good QB thing as people think he is, he's not going to want to be looking at a 50-50 chance of Aaron Rogers.

At the same time though....there's about zero chance of Favre retiring if they signed Moss....

It's kind of a conundrum, because Moss would likely stay if Favre stays, while Favre would likely not retire if they sign Moss. It's just a matter of if one of them will take the chance and take the first action.
