I honestly think this is just a strategic move. If a team and a player publicly state that they're cutting ties, then other teams aren't likely/willing to give fair market value for him, because they expect his release (or they expect him to sit-out or create some other sort of head-ache that will ensure his release). Now, I do give this extra credibility if it came straight from Parcells, and I don't think Taylor is the kinda player that would create a bad situation, but I think this latest statement is just smoke to cover up the reality, and I think if MIA gets a solid offer, they'll still be willing to move Taylor...
