Cards trading Fitzgerald to Eagles? Posted: Sunday March 02, 2008 08:07AM ET Amid wild trade rumors surrounding star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald possibly going to the Philadelphia Eagles, word surfaced Saturday that the Cardinals' No. 3 wideout, Bryant Johnson, was scheduled to meet with the Bills Sunday regarding a potential deal there.
Interesting. Odd that they worded it "wild trade rumors". According to the Arizona Republic, a lot of wild and crazy trade offers must be happening behind the scenes.
Not really believing all of this at this point, but dude, if we could get Fitz.
why in the world would they let bryant johnson go and then trade fitz? steve breaston is hardly a #2 WR. maybe they are going after moss or walker and we dont know about it

Contract problems would be my guess. They owe him like $15 mil this year.
A source tells the Trenton Times that the Eagles and Cardinals had talks about a trade that would send Larry Fitzgerald to Philadelphia.

if thats the case, why wouldnt they at least be trying to lock down bryant johnson? he could be a solid #2 WR. he has size and speed and already knows their system...added to the fact that he could probably be kept for cheap. just doesnt make sense to me.

And the great organization that the Arizona Cardinals are always makes great decisions that make alot of sense....hence their winning tradition.
