What a class act, the first thing he does is apologize for being late when it was apparently flight problems. I will definitly miss Brett Favre and I think the rest of the league will as well.

Until then let the Aaron Rodgers era begin!

GO PACK!!!

As mentioned that press conference pretty much makes it for sure, you could just see it in him.

..it'd be freakin awesome to go hunting with that guy one day. Just thought I'd mention that. :-b

wow...finally just saw the press conference.

i have to say...im not a super emotional guy, but even i got a bit choked up watching favre trying to get through his speech. there arent enough words to explain how much good brett favre has done for the game of football. in a day where money is everything and its all about "me"...favre is a breath of fresh air...and his love for the game is contagious. i think losing him is a blow to this league and he will be greatly missed...and im glad he had so much success in his career. much deserved.

Guys, watching that press conference made me :,-( a little. I will admit.

One of my favorite players to watch play. I grew up loving the sport of football through Brett Favre. He's a big reason I became such a big fan. Him running across the field when the Packers won the Super Bowl that year is a memory of my childhood I'll never ever forget.

same here man, I got pretty choked up, especially when he said "all good things must come to an end" that was tough to keep down.
