High Fidelity would get my vote, but it's hard to not give my #1 Cusack vote to Better Off Dead or One Crazy Summer.
Yeah, Better Off Dead is pretty good, too. The Japanese racers, the "I want my two dollars" kid, Charles de Mar - that's gold.

Agreed! The "I want my two dollars" scenes are frequently quoted by me even to this day. Great part is, almost everyone I know, regardless of age, knows exactly what I'm talking about.
In regards to other Cusack films, I'd like to add that Eight Men Out is a highly underappreciated movie that really captures Cusack in one of his first serious roles.

Her role in Ghost World really launched her career into stardom.
Gonna have to disagree with ya. Ghost World did $8,761,393 worldwide. The Horse Whisperer did $187,000,000.
I know Ghost World has a cult following and certainly didn't hurt her career, but The Horse Whisperer was her breakthrough role. Damn, was she fine in that!
