I'm like you I need pitch black as well. I can handle, and like soft gentle music but theres no way can the TV be on.

Congrats at another one Jose.

Where can I find one of those online stations that play exclusively Bach?

Here's the one I listen too when I'm not listening to my i-pod or cd.

http://www.1.fm/Stations/Baroque/TuneIn.aspx

The station is "Otto's Baroque Musick (32K)"

It's not all Bach, but rather Baroque which will include a lot of Bach and Handel.

Oh, awesome. And it came right up for me. Sometimes I have a hard time getting these online stations to go consistently, but it pulled it right up. Thanks.

Oh, and congrats on the milestone too. :-D

Thanks.

The piano wasn't very big in the Baroque era, in fact Bach hated it because it was so much more restrictive than the harpsichord and organ. Even though I loved the era, I'm not a big harpsichord fan, so a lot of my favorite pieces sound much better arranged on the piano. The station I gave you plays a lot of harpshchord which is why I dont' like it as much as some of my other stuff I listen too. The string quartets/chamber music and orchestra based works sounds really good, though.

That's the thing about classical music that's so crazy, I could listen to 5 arrangements of the same piece of music and only really like one of them. Sometimes I'll hear a certain rendition and it will just click and I'm like... THAT's the way it's supposed to be played. I don't like all of it by any means and I don't even like a lot of Bach's stuff, but some of it is just unmatched. ;-D
