Yeah, I wasn't sure if you meant a grammar related mistake or something having to do with the actual story.

It's not a grammar issue (at least not the item I'm referring to). I noticed it Sunday when it was too late (reading it in the paper) and then was called out on it by a reader via e-mail. Just figured I'd see how astute the cafe is tonight!

Another good find (obsession). I wanted the 10 meters per second, per second. The mistake I'm referring to will take some science/math skills.

Oh, I got it now. The conversion of how fast the bird was flying. It's roughly 1,600 meters per mile, so at 9.5 meters per second, times 60 seconds, times 60 minutes, you're talking 34,200 meters. Divide by 1,600 and you get 21.375 miles per hour. You wrote 3.5 miles per hour for the speed of the bird.

Well. Guess I'm not drunk yet.
