Screw the padding, put real sharp things on the dang poles. I'm sure that will stop people from walking into the poles. :-D

I had a professor who thought we should take out air bags in cars and replace it with a large knife.

He thought this would stop all the stupid driving. He was a funny guy, too bad about that accident during that blizzard. :-?
