Golfer charged with killing bird with ball

Leaving aside all the right/wrong discussion - those are nearly astronomical odds to hit a bird 200+ feet away with a golf ball!! I don't care if this guy was a quasi-professional golfer, that was one heck of a shot, even if it took him two dozen tries.

But back to the right/wrong thing - agree with everyone that the guy is a moron.

I killed a protected goose once with a golf ball. Though it was accidental, I wasn't trying to hit the thing. Still, though, I had to talk to Department of Fish and Game guys and fill out a bunch of paperwork.
