i kid, i kid....he is a steeler so you know i had something smart to say .
hopefully since it just allegations at this point it didnt really happen. i dont get it when guys beat up on chicks.
Don't worry, after all the crap we put Bengals fans through, I figured we'd get some back if it happened to us.
Plus, you need to feel better about being a Ravens fan, so I'll let you. jk
And you're right, hopefully it isn't true, but even if it isn't, it's still bad news. After all, Pacman hadn't been convicted of anything when he got suspended an entire year. Sure Pacman did more, but Harrison could still get suspended even if he's acquitted.
Kudos to Leber for the amazing sig and to Metroid for the userbar and making them both fit 2008 and 2009 Defunct Dynasty League Champion
It's very unlikely that he would get suspended on his first offense....especially if he gets acquitted. Pacman had a ridiculous amount of offenses that just kept adding up to the point at which it could no longer just be a false accusation because he was involved in too many bad situations, same with Tank Johnson, but this is the first I've heard from Harrison doing anything so he wont have to worry about being suspended for this unless there is much more to it.
I really hope we don't start down this path with our guys though....what the heck is wrong with professional athletes? Why do they have this insane need to do stupid things all the time....
If players were going to get suspended for beating women then we'd have seen dozens by now. Domestic violence is a "dirty little secret" in every other walk of life, so I wouldn't expect the NFL to be any different.

A very valid point. That we should worry that a player might be suspended for acting like the general population (given an undesirable portion of society) points out the folly of Goodell and his neo-natzism punishes players for doing what people do. Hey, nail em' hard for crap they do on the field. Leave off field behavior to the proper legal systems to correct.

In a world where celebrities are able to throw the clout of their names behind the political campaign for presidency, then it should be said that they are held to a higher standard than your average citizen. This goes for athletes as well, who thrust themselves into the spotlight and are regarded as heros and role models for the youth of America. The NFL and all other sports orginizations should be recognized for the movement to clean up sports and athletes behavior, not called fascists. As society degrades around us, those who take steps to iprove society should be the real role models.
