Departed is WAY overrated. Boogie Nights is a far better film. :-?

we don't disagree often about movies, but i will have to respectfully disagree here. i am a big pta fan, but probably a bigger scorsese fan. i love the departed. i was blown away the first time i saw it. i purchased it and watched it over and over and over. boogie nights, not so much. i enjoy the film, but it is not one i can sit and watch with any frequency.

Oh don't get me wrong I really liked Departed, it was one of the best movies I've seen this year but I think it's been getting way too much love as far as this tourney is concerned, thats what I meant by overrated. Not that it was overrated as a film....I probably should have been more specific. ;-D
