Value of 1.01 in dynasty leagues?

I got an offer of Ryan Grant + 1.01 for SJAX.

Seems like a decent offer. But I'm not sure what the market is for 1.01.

Seem plain to me, Grant and McFadden for SJax.

Don't deal it unless you have really shallow RB depth.

I think this is a year where you have to seriously consider dealing 1.01. Too many folks with ADP-Fever driving up its' value not to.

If we're talking the 1.01 pick in a dynasty league rookie draft, consider this:

Last year a guy offered me every one of his rookie draft picks (1.05, 2.05, 3.05, 4.05) for the 1.01 pick. Free Bagel opined at the time that every single pick, 1.05 through 4.05 (e.g. 1.05, 1.06, 1.07, 1.08, 1.09, 1.10, etc. all the way up to 4.05) wouldn't be worth the 1.01 pick and Adrian AD Peterson.

This year, I have the 1.01 pick in another dynasty league and am seriously considering trading DOWN to 1.02 - 1.04 and acquiring more picks later in the draft. I simply don't think Darren McFadden will be an elite NFL running back, and think that Rashard Mendenhall, Jonanthan Stewart and even Felix Jones are better pro prospects.

I agree, I think HE is the one being offered the pick, hence the "recieved an offer of Grant/1.01"...

and I also agree that although having your choice of the draft class this year is nice, S-Jax is too much to pay.
