nah, but everytime the subject has come up in small groups or large, everyone knows... and HILARIOUS on the reference from knapp's OP... man, that made me chortle...

This happened 36 years ago. It's understandable that the younger guys don't know much about this. I'm sure they've heard the name DB Cooper before, but out of context who's going to remember that?

Think of it this way - I'm one of the oldest guys at the Cafe, and I was 15 months old when this happened.

I have been doing that all day. Thinking of large words on the spot that I don't use often... trifecta, dubious, insane, et cetera. :-D
