Florida's secondary took another major hit Saturday when it was announced junior safety Dorian Munroe, a projected starter, and senior safety John Curtis will miss the 2008 season with knee injuries.
Munroe suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee that will require surgery and sideline him for the year. Curtis, a backup, sustained a torn ACL in his left knee.
He will miss at least the 2008 season, according to a press release. This is the third tear Curtis has suffered in his left knee. He has had two prior surgeries on that knee. The press release did not elaborate on how either player suffered their injuries.

Such a shame. The guy drops his other sports to focus on football, changes positions to play where the team needs him, and then decides to come back to school for another year, and this is what happens. It's like the anti-karma. He made all the right choices and then this happens.
