If Bush was a QB, the Bucs would be calling the Raiders relentlessly. How many QBs do they have on their roster anyways? I know they drafted a couple if I'm not mistaken.
What kills me is that when Bush went in the 4th last year I thought (as many did) "if he gets healthy, that might be the SOD"...at this point, unless/until he gets outta Oakland, we may never know.

As if the Raiders backfield wasn't already crowded enough with Fargas, Rhodes, Jordan, Bush, and now McFadden Oakland also signed Washington RB Louis Rankin(who also graduated from my high school) to a free agent deal.

there was some speculation on NFL network over the weekend thatthe Saints might try to aquire Jordan from the Raiders to pair with Bush as they don't expect Deuce to get back to where he once was.

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- The Oakland Raiders released running back Dominic Rhodes on Monday, two days after using their top draft pick to take big-play back Darren McFadden.
Oakland had a glut at running back after the draft and began addressing it almost immediately by announcing the team cut ties with Rhodes. The Raiders still have two backs with 1,000-yard seasons on their roster in Justin Fargas and LaMont Jordan, as well as last year's fourth-round pick Michael Bush.
Rhodes signed a two-year contract with the Raiders last offseason after helping Indianapolis win the Super Bowl. He restructured his contract earlier this offseason and was expected to share the rushing load with Fargas before McFadden was drafted.
Dominic Rhodes departed Oakland saying what we all suspected: Coach Lane Kiffin wasn't thrilled about taking a running back in the first round.
Of course, we figured it out that Kiffin wasn't into taking a running back when he announced he thought Oakland was stacked at running back on two different occasions in April. The Raiders ended up taking Arkansas running back Darren McFadden with the No. 4 even though Oakland has major issues on the defensive line.
LSU defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey would have been a perfect fit in Oakland. Dorsey would have been a natural replacement for the retired Warren Sapp. Yet, when Oakland took McFadden, AFC West rival Kansas City jumped on Dorsey at No. 5.
Rhodes' comments show there is a feeling among players, at least former Oakland players that Kiffin doesn't get what he wants. Rhodes is probably right, and that's no shot at Kiffin. It's just a way of life in Oakland.
Apparrently Kiffin was not to happy with the McFadden Pick!!!!!!!!!!
