Yep. A big part of the reason I upgraded to next gen was because Madden wouldn't be on previous gen.

MEH, if I had the money I would upgrade because the old one sucks, but that's just me. :-b

I'm the exact opposite. I HATE the next gen madden versions. The regular Xbox one is waaaay better IMO. But I am weird. I guess I'll have to get 08 then.

There will be an xbox version of Madden '09 this year.

http://www.amazon.com/Electronic-Arts-1 ... 660&sr=8-2

40 bucks through Amazon, and you get a $10 gift card, and if you have Amazon prime you get free release date delivery ($5.98 otherwise).

Just picked it up last night and played 2 or 3 games. The gameplay feels so much different than last years, much more fluid IMO. Lots of cool new tweaks and additions too. Need to play it a bit more for the final verdict, but the first impression was good. ;-D

played a game and a half last night. graphics are amazing, animations look more realistic as do the players themselves. didn't get a chance to get too deep into the game, hopefully i will this weekend though. if anyone intends to use the Cowboys keep in mind they don't have Pac Man Jones on the roster so you'll need to create him if you want to use him. Also, no Favre, unless there's a downloadable update.
