I'm coming to your great town in November for the Monday Night game. Can you give me some tips, please?
First, I would like to do the Falls and some gambling for a day or two. Are there other casinos besides Seneca? Any suggestions for my time North of Buffalo?
I plan to get into downtown Buffalo on Sunday afternoon, and leave Tuesday morning. (There doesn't appear to be any hotels near the stadium). Where would you suggest downtown to watch the games on Sunday? Should I brave the drive to Orchard Park for the game, or try to use the public transportation? I looked at the metro schedule and am very confused as to where I can pick it up and where it drops me off near the stadium. Any tips? Which hotels are right on the bus line? I don't know your city, so I prefer not to have to walk very far downtown after midnight.
How mean are you guys?? I want to be in full Browns attire, but don't want to get killed
I'm not from Buffalo, but have been to a few games down there. If you are thinking of crossing the border, there is a large casino on the Canadian side of the Falls (Casino Niagara) that is pretty decent. I also like trying to hit the Anchor Bar when I'm in town, usually on the Saturday night (although if the game's on Monday I guess you could go there Sunday instead.. heh).. original home of Buffalo Wings, and pretty good atmosphere. Not a ton of TV's outside the bar area though.
You definitely want to drive to the stadium, it's pretty far from the main city, I don't think you want to get involved in public transportation to that location. There is plenty of parking in nearby fields if you get there early enough.

I haven't ever seen fans acting like dirtbags there, but I've heard about it. I think you get that everywhere. I got a buddy who is a huge Patriots fa and he wants to hook up for the 12/7 game in Seattle in a Brady jersey!
Hmmm... I dunno...
Yo, Met... thanks for the sig! GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've heard that. I know people who went to the Oregon/Michigan game in the Big House and they were treated EXTREMELY well. Good fans are a good thing. Drunk, abusive fans... not so much.

Yeah alot of it depends on the people your sitting next too as well. If you get stuck next to some drunk snobby freak things could get annoying, the only away game I've ever been to was in Minnesota and they were great.

I've been to a couple of different stadiums around the country (Giants Stadium, Miami, & TB). I wore my Jets attire to the 3 Jets/Miami games I went to in Miami. I found that it really depends. Most of the people just bust your chops...in fun. But like in every crowd, their could be some idiots that cross the line. It also depends on you and how you react. I had a friend go to a Buffalo game wearing Jets attire and his wife was scared for their lives. It didn't help that my friend was drunk and acting like a complete idiot. So honestly, it's just too hard to tell. You could wear your Browns attire and get people that just bust your chops in fun...or you could have a bad experience. I hope it's the former...good luck!
