I picked it up sunday (actually my mom did cause I was sick, aint she nice) and was home sick monday and half of tuesday, so I got to play it a lot, it's pretty sweet so far, I'm like 30% done and agree totally with Dlux, multiplayer's kinda ho-hum but the single player's awesome. Some of the commercials/things that people randomly scream on the streets are quite raunchy (the commercials are sometimes pretty funny), like there's no way I'd even think about posting 'em here or saying them within a country mile of my grandmother.

I think the term was derived from the fact that a "country" mile seems longer than your average mile because it's wide open space.

Kind of like how a "new york minute" seems faster than a regular minute because new york's such a busy, urgent city.

ya I just like to pick on Met cause he's a hippy from California, although with my wonderful use of the word 'like' there've been some grumblings that I myself might have derived my very being from SoCal.

What achievements does everyone have? I haven't got many hours into the game yet, but I have unlocked the "Gobble Gobble" achievement (score 3 consecutive strikes at bowling). Spent a good 2 hours trying to achieve it, then when I finally did I went on a date there with Michelle and got 5 strikes in a row on my very first game.

If anyone hasn't done this achievement yet and wants a tip, the best way is to take 2 full steps to the left, then hold back on the right analog stick for about 3/4's of a second, then hit forward and try to bowl as straight as possible. The ball should be just left of the exact center and should go perfectly straight down the lane and strike the center pin on the left side. Doesn't always work but it seemed to be the most consistent way for me to get a strike. I think the trick is making sure you don't throw the ball too hard.

1/2 the reason i bought a 360 is because i was lead to believe GTA4 wouldn't be released for PC. The other 1/2 is because Madden won't be. If Madden ends up coming out on PC I swear........
