If I get you right I thinkyou mean what is also known as the 'hookup' . Warner and Faulk, Manning and Harrison, Garcia and Owens etc.
The hookup can produce MASSIVE SCORES. However, that is only if you get primary studs like those mentioned above because you have a QB that prefers his #1's. With lesser producers the hookup can jump up and bite you. One bad day by either and you get nothing. Also, the bye week is a loss unless you are deep elsewhere.
Like investing, unless you get a sure thing hookup, it is a good idea to diversify. Just my opinion. hope it helps.

Ok, gotcha; that makes sense. One guy last year had a triple hookup (Warner, Holt and Bruce) and mopped up the first half of the season... Then he broke em up and fizzled down the stretch.
