I've been making pretty basic sigs for myself for a while now with paint. I've been monkeying around with Photoshop for the first time today on my girls laptop and this is something I came up with. Remember I just started today so be gentle, I don't know jack about Photoshop....see below.

all the basic elements are there (nice job cutting around the hair too, thats tough)..so no real advice from me except just to play around with effects and stuff.

That's really good man. Basic BG, nice cutout, decent text. Not a real fan of the beveled toy looking text, but it really fits the sig style. Really nice first product.

Yeah it's Scarlett. I actually didn't cut around anything, the pic already had a pink background so I just left it. I have no idea how to cut around pics yet, maybe when Shannon gets some time she can show me how to do that.

Yeah, that's really good for your first sig with Photoshop. Stick to it, because there's a lot of stuff you can do in Photoshop and you'll create stuff that you never thought you would ever be able to do.

Well, at least that's what I thought. I'm terrible when it comes painting or drawing, and I couldn't believe some of the stuff I made in Photoshop.
