STOCKTON - His arm rests in a sling. His face bears the stitches and scrapes from the weekend, when he was beaten unconscious amid a mob scene outside the March Lane In-N-Out Burger. His broken jaw is wired firmly shut, making speech difficult.
Still, Ray Guyton, an 18-year-old St. Mary's High School senior, said Wednesday that he's willing to forgive and forget - something his parents instilled in him from an early age.
"I'm trying my hardest to do that right now," he said. "That's what I'm focusing on the most."
