Teen beaten at In and Out...

Postby Metroid » Thu May 29, 2008 9:49 am

...here in Stockton CA, about 1 minute from my house. Some of his accused attackers go to the high school I graduated from(Lincoln) and one of them, Dewitt Stuckey is a star athlete at Lincoln headed to....University of Oregon next season....that is if he isn't in jail. :-t
STOCKTON - His arm rests in a sling. His face bears the stitches and scrapes from the weekend, when he was beaten unconscious amid a mob scene outside the March Lane In-N-Out Burger. His broken jaw is wired firmly shut, making speech difficult.

Still, Ray Guyton, an 18-year-old St. Mary's High School senior, said Wednesday that he's willing to forgive and forget - something his parents instilled in him from an early age.

"I'm trying my hardest to do that right now," he said. "That's what I'm focusing on the most."

Linkage with video of interview.

I read this earlier (right after Met posted it :))... some people feel like they own the world. Those people disgust me. Let me guess, end of the day, slap on the wrist... off to U of Oregon to play, drink, and do cheerleaders without learning a lesson.

I'm sure that'll be the case treat. :-t

The sad thing is that the young men have know each other since like 4th grade and they are neighbors. The kid that was assaulted is really forgiving...I don't know if I could be that forgiving. Good for him. ;-D

My next door neighbors both work at Saint Mary's, the school the kid that was assaulted goes to. The husband is a coach and I think his wife is a counsler, I'll ask them if they knew the student. Maybe they'll have some inside information. :-?
