So who has the better life? The dudes in the rain forest living out their lives in peace and quiet, masters of their own destiny, or us rich products of Western culture with our cars, homes, iPods, computers and whatnot?
Isn't the life from birth to death the same life we chase from the time we're in our late teens until we "get" to retire at 65?

It's amazing how much misinformation is out there and how little integrity people have when it comes to the truth. It's almost like the truth doesn't matter at all. Even at the cafe, people use evidence or cite references to prove their point and don't even care if the evidence is true or not. I think the main problem is that the truth often forces us to challenge our beliefs or pre-conceived notions and it's just easier to ignore it. I for one want to know the truth regardless of the ramifications.
