I get started by having 1 beer(small increment) in my car on my way to the bar so that I don't have to spend too much at the bar. This is a bad example but I just can't bring myself to even comprehend the "Irony" statement.

Texting can wait until you are done driving, I don't want to be guy you hit that fraction of a second your eyes are off the road.

This is a case in point of people thinking they are better texting/drivers than they really are.

How far does your vehicle go in a fraction of a second at 30 mph?

I do stupid stuff all of the time, but usually the only person who is going to get hurt is me.

Texting and driving is not safe no matter how you slice it or convince yourself.

However, Boozie does have a point. :-D

This should be a law in every state, I do it sometimes and really it's ridiculously dangerous, I've almost taken out several stop signs/mailboxes that way and if I'd have been on a bigger road it could get much more dangerous.

you kinda sound like the guy that has 7 beers and says, i'm only a little buzzed, i'm not drunk, then drives home and kills someone. You shouldn't be doing it at all. less than a second with your eyes away from the road? uh huh, keep telling yourself that, you may start to believe it... actually... looks like you already do.

I jumped off a 15 foot cliff the other day onto packed dirt. Next week I am shooting for the 17 foot cliff. When I jump off a cliff too high, I'll stop doing it.
