And there's life.

Here's hoping that he does. I need the FF points during non-Vike weeks. ;-D

I really hope favre stays retired. We need to move on sooner than later and the endless retirement saga is frankly pissing me off. I like favre, but I love the packers, and for the good of the packers we can't have Favre pulling strings from behind McCarthy and Ted Thompson. Favre needs to realize this and stay retired or accept a trade to a team outside the division. I would be fine with those scenarios.

I differ slightly, I love Favre and what he's done, I just love the Packers more. :-B

I don't think I would be cool with him on another team, it woud just not jive with me mentally, I just wouldn't be cool with that. But I agree, he should stay retired.

I think if I were him I wouldn't demand a trade or demand to be released if the packers said they didn't want him back. If the pack says they don't want him back, he should stay retired. And I don't think they will want him back.
If I'm the packers, and Favre demands to come back even after they say that A-Rod is the guy, I would trade Favre to these potential teams who I think would consider trading for Favre: KC (best scenario since Favre is not gonna salvage that team and they are in AFC), Oakland, Houston, NYJ, Buffalo, Miami, Baltimore, San Francisco, Tampa Bay, Carolina, Atlanta, Washington. I would only trade to tampa bay if their offer was way better than any other team. Realistically we could get a 2nd rounder if Favre says he would play 2 years for a new team. I think that's worth it.
When it comes down to it, Favre is really just another player. He's the best player we've had for the past 16 years, but he is still just another player. We'll get some bad press, some people will freak out, and then we'll win some games and people will forget for a while at least. Trading him might be the best thing for the team. Second only to his staying retired.

Trade Favre to the Cheifs for a 5th and turn around and trade him to the Vikes. :-D

A second rounder only would happen if GB would trade within the division. :-o

Not for a 2nd rounder.

A 4th to the Ravens is as high as it would go outside the division.

Every other team would know that they could trade for Favre and turn around and get more for him. Think Al Davis wouldn't do it? :-D

Quite the dilemma on the hands of the Pack. :-o

They can always write in a conditional 1st rounder if he gets traded to the vikes. If the packers trade him, he will stay on that team. That much will be certain.
