this is the key, you need more than a big arm, you need to know what you are doing out there cause you have alot of reads to make in a very very short amount of time. like Brad Johnson, he isnt the most skilled QB out there but he is smart and oesnt make many mistakes and gets the job done. John Elway didnt have a cannon for an arm but he got it done as well as anyone ever has.

Having a good arm and the ability to see over the line is nice, but as said above, being able to read defenses is key. As long as the QB can get the ball where it's needed and keep the ball out of opposing players hands, he should do fine.
