Is there a difference between 1st base and #1 in the shower?

Some years ago, I worked with a guy named Tom. Tom was pretty open about the fact that he used to shower with his girlfriend (Lorene). While they were both in the shower stall together, he would dip skoal and spit down the drain (or at least try to hit the drain). He also mentioned that on occassion, he'd have to go #1 while she was in there, and she didn't mind as long as his aim was good and he kept it off of her feet.

Anyone else ever encounter anything link this?

A shower can be for fun and getting clean, but I don't see how peeing and spitting would help accomplish either of those things.

It's hard for me ever since my town went with all the low flow crap. Gotta flush like 3 times just to get the shampoo out.
