Tiger is amazing. Eight weeks after surgery he plays 91 of the most competitive holes of golf of his career, and wins. On a bum knee. And it's a Major. Truly incredible.
Tiger now has 14 Majors in 11 years, compared to Jack's 18 in 26 years. Tiger has 64 PGA Tour wins compared to Jack's 73.
This could be the Golden Years of professional golf right now. Between Lefty and Sergio and Vijay and all the rest, it's not like Tiger is facing weak competition. He's just that much better than the best golfers out there.
Rocco's gotta be hating it, though. He played great, but make the tough birdie putt on 18 and he's the champ. Nevertheless, he pushed the best golfer in the world to the edge and then some. Well done.
Yo, Met... thanks for the sig! GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice interview with Tiger after the tourney. The fact that he said he is not sure when he is going to play again is pretty telling on how much pain he was in. Also, great words from him on Rocco, and you could tell he was real emotional when talking about Dad's and how he lost his a couple years ago. Class act -- both guys

There is probably one record Tiger wont ever touch and thats Jacks top 10 wins....still I have to agree knapp, what we're watching in Tiger is simply amazing.
I don't even watch golf, but I have to admit that I got sucked into the action today. I had the day off, so why not kick back and watch history. Though I was rooting for Rocco to win it, you really can't be too disappointed to see Tiger pull of another major.
I was torn all day today. Yesterday I was rooting for Woods, but if Woods didn't win I wanted Rocco to win. I kinda wish Rocco won just because Tiger will be back contending in majors for years to come. I loved the comment by Tiger that in 5 years he'll be happy to see Rocco off the tour. When golfers turn 50 they can join the Senior Tour & Rocco is 45.
Unbelievable job getting #14 Mr. Woods. And unbelievable job by Rocco pushing the best player in the world to 91 holes on one of the toughest courses in the world. Rocco has the best attitude ever. After he hit his 2nd shot on the 91st hole (hole #7 on the course) right next to the grandstand he was allowed a free drop. So he picks up his ball to walk to the drop area and fakes that he's going to throw the ball on the green! In dire straits on the 91st hole and he's still joking around with a smile on his face. More pro athletes (not saying all golfers are athletes) should be like Rocco & Rocco gained a LOT of fans this weekend.

Couldn't agree more. That was great when he did that
Man I just saw on ESPN First Take that the Golf Channel has reported that Tiger Woods is out for the rest of the season and requires another surgery on his knee...perhaps microfracture surgery.
