I thought this was his site
Him and Yak right?
Don't hold your breath waiting for an answer to that. It's not like it's a "secret" or anything, but to my knowledge the general populace has never been formally told who "owns" the Cafe.
Personally, I think it's all just some big sociological experiment. I think the guys with these are really the professors doing the research.

I guess that would make us lab mice.
Cool. I can't wait for my phosphorescent gene injection. Glowing in the dark would be so cool.

Madison is the Administrator. He takes care of member issues, head of the moderating team, etc.
As to who technically owns the site, I don't know.
Back to the story, all I know is that Imus needs to choose his words more carefully no matter what he meant by what he said.
Why? If he wanted to say that, shouldn't he be allowed? Like I said, if the station did not like it than they fire him, but in the meantime if it did not violate "decency" standards, shouldn't he be allowed to say what he wanted?

Depending on his employer and their intent I agree. But it's up to the employer to decide if what he says is going to be in their best interests or not.
As for his explanation, I'm not buying it. He went so far as to say that Pacman (or Adam or whatever he wants to be called) isn't a bad person. He may have made "one mistake" he said and that he's had numerous arrests all because he's black. He backtracked too far and made it painfully obvious, to me, that he said and meant what some of us thought.

You're talking about the difference between legality and morality, Dee. Legally he can say what he wants - this is Freedom of Speech. Morally he's bunged it up once again according to societal morés. Of course this is different with each individual, but overall American culture is not tolerant of the kinds of words Imus is choosing in these situations, hence the outrage over the statement.
I don't think anyone is saying he can't say these things, just that he shouldn't say these things.

AMEN
Come on now. Censorship still has it's place. What would happen if I listed the 7 words here?
I guess I just see it different. It's not really censorship, it is how this site is run(family friendly). They do not allow it. If you want to list the words.....change the channel and find a site that you can.
