LEAGUE DESCRIPTION


The Funn-N-Dunn Fantasy Football League (est. 2008) is a custom, dynasty league organized through Yahoo Fantasy Football. At the end of each season, owners will keep ALL players they have on their roster. Rosters will be locked at the start of the 1:00pm games on Sunday of Week 16.

DRAFT RULES

Draft Day will be held during the last weekend in August (Saturday or Sunday).

Initial live draft will be held in the standard Yahoo fantasy league page. The mini drafts following will be held through Yahoo instant messenger conference chat.

The initial draft will be conducted in a serpentine order
The following years will be conducted in a non-serpentine order

Each pick will be given three-minutes. If an owner does not make the pick within the three-minutes, that team will be dropped one pick and the team owner next in line will be given the pick.

If for any reason an owner does not attend the initial draft, the commissioner will pick a team for the absent owner. The pick will be made based on the best available player remaining on the Yahoo ranking of players. The offensive starting players will be chosen first (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE) though not necessarily in that order. Then the starting PK and DEF will be chosen. After that, the reserve positions will be filled with the best remaining players (1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE) again, not necessarily in that order. Then the last two picks will be a PK and DEF. Bye-week conflicts will not be taken into consideration when the selection is made.

At the conclusion of the draft, all un-drafted players are immediately free agents.

After the inaugural 20 round draft you will have a choice to participate or not participate in the 3 round mini draft each following season.

- If you participate then you will need to drop 3 players by 2 weeks before the mini draft
- If you choose to not participate (illustrated by not dropping 3 players before the mini draft) then your team will be removed from the mini draft completely for just that upcoming season.

This will allow for the league to know the teams participating in the mini draft, and which new Free Agents will be added to the drafting pool.

Year 1 (2008)

Normal Draft as non-keeper leagues. FFToolbox.com generator will be used to draw the draft order.

Year 2 and forward

Draft order will be determined by order of finish the previous year. Draft will be 3 rounds and in non-serpentine order.
* If there is a tie then the 1st tie breaker will be total points scored, 2nd tie breaker is record from Head-2-Head matchups, 3rd tie breaker is total points scored in H2H matchups, 4th tie breaker, coin flip.

Draft order will be:
1st pick = 12th place from previous year
2nd pick = 11th place from previous year
3rd pick = 10th place from previous year
4th pick = 9th place from previous year
5th pick = 8th place from previous year
6th pick = 7th place from previous year
7th pick = 5th place from previous year (Championship bracket 5th place)
8th pick = 6th place from previous year (Championship bracket 6th place)
9th pick = 4th place from previous year (Championship bracket 4th place)
10th pick = 3rd place from previous year (Championship bracket 3rd place)
11th pick = 2nd place from previous year (Championship bracket runner-up)
12th pick = 1st place from previous year (Championship bracket winner)

TRADES

Trades between teams are permitted from the end of the draft until the last Friday in November. In-season trades will be processed through Yahoo.

No trades for future draft picks are permitted during the season. However, at the conclusion of the season, draft picks and players may be traded. Off-season trades will be handled in a similar fashion to in-season trades. Trades are approved by league vote. Per Yahoo rules, if 1/3 of managers protest a trade, the trade is vetoed. In our 8-team league format, 3 votes against the trade will veto the trade. The proposed trade will be submitted to the commissioner. The commissioner will email the league managers regarding the trade. If the required 3 votes are not received after one full day from the time the email is sent, then the trade will be approved. The commissioner will then inform the league through email of the approved trade.

RULE CHANGES

Any changes to the rules must be agreed upon by a majority of the team owners, meaning 5 votes are needed.

I was about to send you an email before I read again that playoff weeks are 16&17. That is a real disadvantage to teams that have elite players on playoff teams because they tend to get rested. Every league I have ever been in is a 13 week season with playoffs starting week 14.
