It seems I never learn.
Even in the day of melanoma I always "forget" to put on sunscreen (At least my first time out). Well I paid for it today; I was on a boat and started to snooze off. Long story short my stomach now looks like it was painted a nice salmon mousse colour. Anyways, I'm fried.
I'm going on a long flight tomorrow, and I really don't feel like squirming in my seat the entire time. Any ways to dull the pain? I tried that Aloe Vera stuff, but it doesn't seem to work. Plus it makes me feel like a girl.

see if you can find the aerosol cans of Lanacane - I think it's called solarcaine. The aerosol comes out really cold which feels nice, plus it has the topical anesthetic that normal lanacaine does to help with the pain. Also, if you're using the aloe gel stuff, keep it in the fridge to cool it. Personally I don't care for aloe either, it's too thick and gums up when using alot of it.
There's really no cure for a sunburn other than time, but you know that. As far as the pain and the flight, Dr. Scott recommends you drink moderate to heavily.
Thanks Chaoyi Shih for the sig.
