15 minutes to our annual chili party at work...cant decide if i should eat my own or someone elses though (i'm sure it will end up being both, but i know mine is good but others could be hit or miss)

At least they have the presence of mind to do it on a Friday.

FYI, next time something like that is done, make a batch that has a bunch a diced up beets in it and don't tell anyone. See how many people panic the next day.

I'm gunna skip lunch and just munch on stuff from the slow cooker through the afternoon.

As in school cafeteria dining hall food? Or student dorm dining hall food? Our cafeteria has some good stuff, but yeah the dorm dining hall food is usually pretty bad.

Kind of a combination; there's a dining hall on the first floor of my dorm. It's not horrible, but I've been eating the same stuff for 2 months now, so I'm pretty tired of it by now. Can't wait for Thanksgiving so I can eat some home cooking.

You need to get yourself a girlfriend that doesn't live in the dorms, preferably one who grew up around there, that way she can take you home for meals.

or even just a local fatty that will be happy to have your company for mealtime...that way you dont tie yourself down
