So I need a new phone...

I had thought I had narrowed my search to a Blackberry Curve, does what I need... nice price... So the Samsung Instinct (the so called IPhone Killer) comes out at 50 bucks cheaper...

Anybody able to help me with this decision? Anybody in the cell phone industry have a low down on these for me.

I would put photos up, but imageshack won't have their firefox 3.0 toolbar til next month, so it's a hassle in comparison...

I want a phone that has email (dealbreaker, but they both can),
can run excel like files (not a deal breaker),
knowing me I love the 3gigs on the instinct for movies and music.
Instinct has Live TV.
Not a big touch screen guy, but it's not a deal breaker.
Instinct has nice GPS.

Why did this have to just come out... grrr

Oh yeah I forgot to mention in my last PM that I don't know jack about phones really. I've had the same Motorolla Riser for a couple years now.

yeah it is, but I'm with Sprint (Pepsi deal)... besides connection with itunes and whatnot, don't see much difference between the 3G instinct and the 3G iphone. Business stuff I don't care about, but otherwise, meh. Not a ton of differences that matter to me IMO. The Instinct is $129 right now if I renew and with my Pepsi discounts I get it for under 100.

I would like Aim on it, but i can do mobile and just SMS. I know you can put Jivetalk on Blackberry's for AIM, I'm guessing it will be Instinct available at some point.

Your going to need it's battery to run the TV that I'm going to need to watch anything. If the screen is less 19 inches, I'm not watching. And I better be hard up to watch something if it's going to be on a 19 inch screen.
