Yup, they appear to have ironed out the glitches. Updating my wife's iPhone took about half the time that it did to do mine. Go figure...

You bought any of Apps yet? I've only tried out the free ones. So far my favorite is Pandora, I've always loved it on my PC now I have it on the go in my car. ;-D

apps I have:

Super Monkey Ball - Control takes some getting used to, but seems really fun.

Hold'em - Awesome. Must have if you like poker

Scrabble - Awesome.

CheckWord - a scrabble dictionary. Works great.

Cube Runner - For free, it's darn good.

IPint - Eh.

AIM - Works so much better than the web app.

Ebay - Looks like it'll work well.

SportsTap - Same as the web app.

Mobile News Network - Possibly my fav so far. Free news about everything under the sun that is well organized.

If Found - Wanted something exactly like this. Wallpaper function is where it's at.

ReQuall - this whole program will be one of my favs I think. I love that you can call and it will make it a typed reminder. Will email, text, IM you with reminders you set.

Still trying out: Remote, AOL Radio

I'm pretty impressed so far with the number of free apps available. A few of the ones I've downloaded:

MotionX Poker: Poker dice on crack. One of the most addicting things I've ever played, and well worth the $4.99

AIM: Haven't used it much, but it seems fine.

Platinum Solitaire: Basic solitaire app with every basic solitaire game: solitaire, golf, pyramid, freecell, yukon, and spiders (I haven't heard of most of them). Probably not worth the money unless you're gonna play most of the games.

Pandora: Excellent free application. You enter the names of your favorite artists, pick one, and the application plays songs by them as well as songs by similar artists. Great if you're looking for some new music.

iPint: entertaining for about five seconds

SportsTap: seems like it'll be pretty useful during the season

AOL Radio: good free radio app

I'm definitely gonna try some more. These applications were a genius idea. ;-D

Just played around with Remote. So awesome. Especially if you have a router with speakers attached... Then it's like you're playing your ipod wirelessly through speakers.
