Alot of people seem to be down on him. He seems to be bouncing back from his injury well, and is in a contract year. Saw a piece on him on the local Philly news and looks to be in amazing shape. I think he's going to have a great year. What does everybody else say?

It's possible he could sneak into the Top 12 in TE scoring this year. He's a guy I'd take as my TE1 if my last 3 rounds were TE/D/K in a 12-teamer... I just don't see how he gets into the top 10 though....the first 8 or so TE are really good, then there's the LJ Smith tier (with Scheffler, Crumpler, etc.)

At Smith's peak he was never a top 10 TE.

He will probably go undrafted in many re-draft leagues.

And to think the Eagles could have had Witten... yikes. Smith does look shredded this year. But he seems disinterested historically, like he is coasting on talent or something. I can't put my finger on it, but he should be better.

LJ seems to be a guy who gets tons of hype, scores a couple times a year, but never really lives up to that hype.

I put him just below that tier. I cut him last year for Lee in my Dynasty, and havent regretted it.
