Yeah, that is weird. And it's interesting that his kid is the only one "off limits" to the media.

For the record, he has no interest in playing hockey.

"I'm a Southern California kid," explained Trevor, born after his father arrived in Los Angeles two decades ago as part of a blockbuster trade that sent Gretzky from the Edmonton Oilers to the Los Angeles Kings. "There's no hockey leagues out here anyway."

Wayne grew up with a rink in his backyard. He should have built one for his son when he was growing up. I don't care that it's 100+ outside, you're Wayne Gretzky, you have tons of money and a responsibility to teach your son to play hockey.

I hope that Tony Macarena starts every game this year and keeps all those punks on the bench.
