Shockey to the Saints

WFAN in NY and FoxSports are both reporting the Giants trade Shockey to the Saints for a 2nd and 5th round pick in next years draft.

I think it's a good move for everyone involved!

well Shockey is on my radar now! with the amount that the saints run the ball i will happily take a flier.

I think it's hard to say what will happen to his value, although with a name like his and a big trade in the news you can guarantee his ADP moves up and he'll start going from 7-9 in standard 12 team leagues, maybe as early as 6th round.

I'm not sure how NO uses their TEs, but I suspect they didn't trade for Shockey to be a blocking TE.

Hell yes. I have been hoping and praying for this deal since the rumors began. Now the Saints have a pass-catching tight end, watch out.

He has to move up a little bit, maybe a nice late sleeper at tight end if you have the roster depth. Otherwise, I would not consider him a top-12 prospect at this point.

Shockey's value may go up a bit. I have Brees in the 5- 7 range with Palmer , Ben and Anderson. Those guys just below Brady , Manning, Romo. Does Brees go to 4 and seperated at all from his teir?
