Well I'm not exactly new to FF, but i have a fairly simple question. I basically know that the VAST majority of my leauge, a 10 person NO PPR leauge that starts 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 Flex, 2 WR, 1 Def, 1 K, 1 TE.
IF i know that basically everyone is going to go RB/RB in rounds 1 and 2, which i Know is a good idea, but if I know this is going to happen, should i go for a stud QB/WR's and grab RB's late?

A lot depends on what position you're drafting in and what talent is left on the board when your pick comes up (and consequently how long before ya get to pick again). Still good to get a stud RB early with there being so many ??? at RB2 this year. Do you know what pick you have yet?

I agree with Rob. I don't think you should pass up LT2, ADP, SJax, Westy, or Addai with a top 5 pick. I always draft a RB in the 1st, but 1.06 is where I see Brady going the earliest. Why do you have so few starting requirements? One or 2 RB's could carry an entire team in that type of league. That's why they're going to go so early. I'm in a 10 team redraft league here on the Cafe (Cafeholics Anonymous) that starts: 2QB, 2RB, 4WR, 2TE, 1K, 1D/ST. There's only 16 RB's picked through 45 picks, while 12 QB's have been picked already.
So, IMHO, if you have a top 5 pick I'd pick one of those 5 RB's and then just go BPA. If you don't like any RB's in the 2nd...pick a WR or QB. If you have 6-10 and don't like the RB's left...go for your #1 WR or #1 QB & then see what RB's are left in the 2nd and do the same thing.
i play the first time fantasy football. The engine is FleaFlicker. I play in a league with 12 Teams. My Draftposition is Number 2.
We have the following roster: 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D and 1 Flex RB/WR/TE and 1 Flex QB/RB/WR/TE/K/D
So, my Draftorder will be: RB RB WR QB RB WR RB (Backup) QB (Backup) WR (Backup) TE K D TE (Backup) K (Backup) D (Backup)
Wath you mean about my draftorder? is it good or must it be better?
thank you for your help....
Do not...I repeat...do not go into a draft with a pre-determined order of which position you are going to take. You need to be flexible in a draft and look at who is available as well as who will be available, look at trends and position runs, also keep an eye on what other teams still need to fill. There is a lot more to a FF draft then taking teh best player at a particular position regardless if he will be there next round or not.

Not always. There are a number of different strategies for drafting. I suggest looking some of them up and finding the best that fits you. VBD(Value based drafting), ADP(average draft position), BPA(best player available) are just a few.

Given that you only start one RB, I have to agree with the earlier advice. In the 2nd round, be on the lookout for a stud WR or QB.
