x2. I was surprised to see the trailers for the movie, seeing as it's been so long since the series ended, and even longer since the first movie. I'm sure I'll see it but I don't know that I'll catch it in the theaters. I still need to see that other movie currently out with its own thread.

I'll probably wait for this on DVD. The long lag between the show finale/Fight the Future to now, which is still a pleasant surprise that there's an X-Files 2, doesn't elicit much urge for me to rush out to the theaters like The Dark Knight did. Typically, I'm not an avid moviegoer as I wouldn't go to the theater unless it's a seriously massive event and although I'm a fan of The X-Files, this isn't one of those events.

I thought it was really good. Definitely a rental if you guys are not going to check it out in the theater, otherwise I would grab a matinee. I enjoyed being one of the first to see it though! Great to see Mulder and Scully back in action.
